Exciting News!
Pometon Spa is delighted to announce the successful securing of a prestigious European grant totaling nearly 4 million euros for our groundbreaking research in Renewable Metal Energy Carrier.
This significant milestone was accomplished in partnership with our esteemed collaborators from the CORAL consortium, and we express our gratitude to all partners.
The primary objective of this project is the development and evaluation of a concept aimed at retrofitting existing coal-fired fluidized bed power plants for the oxidation of metals, presenting a challenging yet promising venture. Pometon takes pride in being a leading supplier of Metal Powder fuel and contributing significantly to the recycling of iron oxide powder through reduction by hydrogen.
Led by Ekaterina Makarova-Breda, PhD, R&D Project Manager, and Ivan Lorenzon, R&D Director, our dedicated R&D team has invested over 5 years in advancing projects related to Renewable Metal Fuels.
We extend our sincere thanks to Pometon’s CEO, Rudi Clayton, whose vision and unwavering support from the project’s inception has been pivotal to its success.
This accomplishment signifies the commencement of a new chapter in our journey. Pometon remains committed to expanding collaborations, driving innovation in Renewable Metal fuel Technology, and actively contributing to the future of sustainable energy.
Stay tuned for further updates as we continue to make significant progress in this exciting endeavor!
